Returns & Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it has been shipped. Should you cancel your order, you will receive a credit amount equivalent to the value of your order for any subsequent purchase on the website. If you wish to receive a refund instead, any bank processing charges will be borne by you and will be deducted from the total before the refund.

In Umay Benaras, our team is accountable towards best quality deliveries to each of our client. Every product mentioned on the website clearly specifies its fabric, colours and any other description for the client to give them a sufficient idea of the actual product. We assure you that the product showcased are identical with the one received. 

However in case you receive your order in a parcel and packaging that appears to have been tampered with, damaged or is in an unsealed condition, you are advised not-to accept such a parcel and do not open the package. Kindly immediately get in touch with us at & call at 9831015673.

In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrived damaged, you need to email us a photo of the damaged packaging along with the return request – sent by email to within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. Requests send after 48 hours of delivery of parcel will not be eligible for returns.

Each product before it is dispatched, goes with various stages of scrutinisation and quality checks which leads to extremely less or rather no chance of defect. Please note that since our products are handwoven, we mostly have one of each kind at a time. Also, as the fabrics are pure and the weaves delicate, each garment requires very careful handling and returns is not possible as it might damage the beauty of the product or the product itself.

However in the worse scenario, if there is any mis-happening or deficiency in the product, we are just a call away! You can write to us, contact us in anyway you prefer and we will be happy to serve you and solve your queries or provide a refund within 5-7 working days.
